Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Unity game developer. You will be working with a small team to build out our upcoming spell crafting roguelite that will be released on Steam. This position is a contract role for at minimum 3 months, 40 hours per week, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new gameplay features in Unity
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability for a smooth player experience
- Debug complex issues using profiling tools and best debugging practices
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to bring our vision to life
Ideal Profile
- Shipped a PC game on Steam as part of the development team
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing Unity applications for performance
- Deep understanding of Unity’s project architecture, asset management, and advanced features
- Comfortable working with version control systems
