Founding AI Full-Stack Engineer

Total Compensation: $145,000 - $190,000 salary + meaningful equity
We are seeking an exceptional founding full-stack engineer to spearhead our product innovation and feature development. The ideal candidate is a programming generalist with deep expertise in frontend development and a passion for AI.
You will work closely with the founding team in a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle—from conception to deployment.
As an Applied AI Engineer at ProSights, you will lead development of our core ProSights product from the ground up. You’ll be building a platform that will reimagine the workflows of financial services companies from the ground up and be a driving force in the AI revolution for investment firms.
We cover all in-office meals and are in-person 6 workdays each week, with 1 optional work-from-home day each week. We share a co-working space with several other NYC-based YC companies.
We are open to engineers outside of New York who are interested in relocating, and we will sponsor visas of any sort (H-1B, TN, etc.)

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer or similar role
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in NextJS, React, Python and Typescript
- Demonstrated experience building with various LLM APIs and RAG
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Eagerness to learn and grow
Bonus Qualifications
- Microsoft / Office.js / VBA experience
- Experience working at an early-stage startup
